Schaub jumps from KGO to KCBS

Two years after taking a buyout and leaving CBS5, Jeffrey Schaub is working in the same building again — this time for KCBS Radio. Schaub was at Channel 5 for 20 years and had beats ranging from education to the environment. He also served as the station’s North Bay bureau chief. After leaving Channel 5, Schaub went to KGO Radio as a reporter. Novato’s Patch website has this profile of Schaub, who has lived in the North Bay since the 1980s and has been involved in the community by doing special-event emcee work there.
